Introduction
The Encapto Media Module is the area of the Cloud Deck where images that will display as part of a campaign, portal, or other Encapto feature can be stored and managed. In general, Media are created along with the items that are using them. For example, banners, logos, and background images can be uploaded during creation of a portal.
The Media Module offers an alternative means of both uploading images for use across Cloud Deck modules and of managing Media items that have been created in the course of using other modules.
Media Types
There are currently five media types used in Encapto:
-
Campaign assets – display in end user devices as part of a Campaign on connection to a network on which the Campaign is enabled.
-
Communication assets – header banners displayed in emails used for Email Auth Methods.
-
Backgrounds – display as a background to Encapto Portals.
-
Banners – display within Portal pages as banners across the portal page.
-
Logos – used in Portal branding.
