Enable inline authentication to a portal
Encapto inline authentication allows user journey to occur inline within the captive portal design. You will be able to enable inline authentication by adding a login box to your portal design.
To add a login box to your portal design, log on to Encapto Wi-Fi Clouddeck.
- Click Portals under VISITOR JOURNEYS.
- Select the relevant portal (not shown) or create new.
- Navigate to Designs tab.
- Select the portal design form the DESIGNS list.
- In the selected portal Design, navigate to Editor tab.
- Click and Edit the section to add the login box.
- In the editor, add the login box to any position of the portal (based on the design) by clicking the button.
- Click Save.

Note: Before preview the portal, assign the portal to a hotspot with multiple authentications.
Portal without inline authentication/login box (traditional portals).
In Traditional portal, users need to click the "Get Online" button to see the list of authentication methods and that will appear in a pop up window.
Portal with inline authentication/login box
With inline authentication, user will see the available authentication methods within the portal (without pop up as above) and the whole login process happens within the portal.
